The digital recorder comes with its own software Power Voice II but is only available for Windows. So I've installed it on Wine (XP) and I am able to play sample sound files (in the proprietary .tsh format) from my computer. I'm also able to convert the .tsh file to .wav file which is one of the functions of Power Voice II. However a key thing I can't do is to download the sound files from the recorder when I connect it via USB. Ubuntu doesn't seem to recognize the digital recorder.
Anyone has any advice on this? Appreciate any help on this issue.

I have a VR P2340 and the same thing - no response from Ubuntu. I don't have wine(XP).
